What is Waiter-Based Dine-in Management?

As the name suggests, waiter based dine-in feature of Gleeca offers a waiter/captain role through which orders can be managed digitally and foods shall be served at a faster rate. As a Restaurant Admin/Owner you can create a waiter and share access to login to your restaurant’s account on Gleeca. Gleeca’s waiter role can create a dine-in order based on the table number, add as many items to the existing order and generate bills once they want to complete the order.

If the kitchen system is enabled, your waiters can send food items directly to Kitchen Printer/Display system. This action will save significant liaising timing and other manual errors.

Based on your payment settings the payment options will be shown to your customers. Customers shall pay cash or use their card on the restaurant’s existing POS machine which can be recorded by the biller/cashier role of the Gleeca app. If the customer chooses to pay online using Gleeca Application, then payment acknowledgment will be automatic hence manually recording payment is not required.
