How to configure Online Pickup Feature using Gleeca?
The online pickup ordering feature allows customers to skip the queue by placing orders online and get their food instantly when they visit your restaurant. Using Gleeca you shall configure the online pickup feature easily.
Step 1: Log in to Gleeca Account
Step 2: Click Menu Icon in the Top Right Corner
Step 3: Click Branches
Go to the respective branch where you want to enable the online pickup order feature
Step 4: Click Settings
You can able to manage the entire branch configurations here. In this tutorial our focus is to enable Online Pickup Orders, so click settings
Step 5: Click Pickup Settings
5.1 Enable Pickup
In Pickup settings, you need to click the toggle button to enable pickup
5.2. Cash on Pickup
Once you enable it, you can instantly configure the online pickup order feature with the “Cash on Pickup” feature. If you disable the “Cash on Pickup” option without enabling the “Accept Online Payment method”, the Pickup Feature for your branch will be disabled. So initially, you can keep the Cash on Pickup option enabled. After configuring all other areas, you can submit your bank account details here. There are a few steps to verify your Bank account & Business details; once we verify your bank and business details, you can accept online payment for pickup.
5.3 Enable Online Payment for Pickup
If you need to enable online payment, you shall submit your bank details by visiting your payout settings from the Restaurant Owner account. For more information, please visit How to submit bank account details?
5.4 Order Handing-Over Tracking
If you wish to track the handing over of parcels, then you shall enable “Handover Tracking”. Our system will automatically send SMS once the admin clicks the handover button and the order is marked as completed.
Other Controls in Gleeca Pickup Feature:
Minimum Order Value Limit
Set the minimum order value limit to permit your users to place pickup orders online. For example, if you set the minimum order value limit as INR 100, then the sum of all items the users added to their cart should be equal to or greater than INR 100.
Maximum Order Value Limit
Set the maximum order value limit for your pickup orders so that you can fulfill the orders with ease. When you don’t have this cost control, your customer may place high-value orders that you may not able to fulfill in a short span.
Pickup Cutoff time
Configure till what time your users will be able to place pickup orders before your restaurant closing hours.
Set Other Charges:
If you wish to add any charges, enter the charge’s name and set the flat fee. E.g. Packing Charges
Send Pickup Instructions:
In the “Other Important Instructions to Customer” area, you need to mention what you want to show to your customers once they place a pickup order. E.g., Collect your order from curbside.
