How to configure the menu using Gleeca?
In Gleeca, you can seamlessly configure the menu categories, timing, and availability based on a day. To reduce your burden, we have made some default settings to help you understand the options available, and you shall modify your menu settings if needed as per your actual business plan without any support from Gleeca.
Menu Classification:
Using menu classification, we are creating the main category of your restaurant menu and mapping it with the ordering timeframe. By default, we are classifying the menu as Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner as it is universally used by many restaurants. If you need to change the name, you shall do it. You can add a new menu classification if needed as per your requirement. To add a new menu classification, click Create New and give a new name as per your preference. Eg: Evening Snack, Jogging Menu, etc.
Menu Timing:
Assign timing to each menu classification. By default, we have assigned timing as follows
Breakfast: 6 Am to 11 Am
Lunch: 11:30 Am to 4 Pm
Dinner: 6 Pm to 11 Pm
You shall change the timing for each day as per your business requirement.
When you create a new menu classification, the timing for that menu classification has to be entered manually.
Let us say, for example, that if your restaurant does not operate on Sunday, you shall disable all menu classification under Sunday from the menu timing tab.
Item Category:
Within each menu classification (main category such as Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, etc.), we shall create any number of sub-categories such as Starter, Main course, Desserts, Beverages, etc. for a better grouping of items. This sub-category is called an Item Category.
You can create this under the “items” option of your branch. Under Items page, go to “Item Category” and click “Create New”
